No! There are no cuts or incisions involved in the PDO thread lift process. Instead, your treatment expert uses a small needle that is pre-loaded with the PDO thread. The needle is carefully inserted into your skin (parallel to the skin’s surface), then gently removed. It leaves behind the PDO threads, which have been precisely situated to provide your desired results.
Because PDO thread lifting grabs and lifts the skin, you will notice results immediately after treatment. Beyond that, you may experience bruising immediately following your treatment. Our medical staff takes all the precautions possible to reduce any potential bruising, but each person is different. Some soreness and swollenness can also be expected for the first 3-5 days after the treatment. Don’t be alarmed if you notice your skin has some slight indents as those are absolutely normal and typically go away within the first few days. You may also feel some overall tightness in your face for the 2 weeks following your treatment.

For example, if the areas around your mouth or cheeks were treated, we recommend avoiding any situations that would place stress on these areas.
